This is ELF's new blog site. For those of you who don't have a Facebook and wanted to be on our email list this is to keep you all updated with what's going on with ELF and of course the elephants.
But for those of you who don't know much about us, ELF stands for Elephants Living Free, and we are a project of the Alliance for Animals. A non-profit 501(c)3 animal rights organization. ELF was created in December 2010 to educate others about the exploitation of elephants for commercial gain through the means of educating and increasing awareness, bringing to public attention, and encouraging and supporting other groups with their efforts on elephant related issues.
ELF believes that elephants should be able to live with dignity and freedom in a peaceful environment. ELF makes every attempt to provide accurate information to the public, and to advocate for the dignified treatment of elephant through their volunteers.
On our website, listed at the end of this blog, we are providing information and materials for people that would like to help elephants that are forced to perform in Wisconsin.
